Italian Dressing

Ingredients
- 7 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 16 oz mason jar (or any container with a lid)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Directions
- Add all ingredients EXCEPT oil to a jar and shake vigorously to combine
- Add oil and shake until well combined
Notes
- You can play with the oil/water ratio as desired
- Shake well before each use, it will separate
- If you add mustard this may not be as big a deal, the mustard helps emulsify and gives it a bit of a creamier texture.
